Sure-Grip International

Founded by John L. Wintz in 1936, Sure-Grip International has been an innovative leader in the skating industry. The brand was initially recognised for its rubber inlay wheels, invented to replace the often slippery wooden wheels of conventional roller skates, followed by the first full Sure-Grip skate manufactured in 1945.

Throughout the years, innovations in design and engineering, such as the use of lightweight aluminium, titanium, and magnesium allowed Sure-Grip to become a leader in the research and development of new materials to not only continue to improve its products but also bring the public the finest quality at a reasonable price.
